E-BX

Breakthrough 1000+ mile EV battery technology.

Overview

E-BX is a project under the leadership of researcher Christopher Reyes, PhD. His work has enabled us to develop conformed battery technology through 3D printing and additive manufacturing techniques.

A new challenge for innovation…

It is the innovation challenge of the moment to develop a stable and compact electric vehicle battery with 1000+ mile range. Downstream from this outcome our technology has significant applications for consumer products as well as commercial products that leverage batteries. We as a society are not going to stop using batteries anytime in the future and with this program effort we are focused on solutions that leverage 3d printing, additive manufacturing, and currently available technologies to chase down improving the utility and form factor of batteries.

From $150 to $70 per kWh

Reducing the price of manufacturing battery capacity will open the door to blowing past our current vehicle range limitations and other constraints. The current approaches to battery development are largely driven by cylindrical battery assemblies. This current technology has a finite lifetime before reaching a storage threshold which will slow the advancement of battery powered mobility.

Our production backlog is informed and directed by real industry insights and feedback. We have identified industry partners as first customers and devised a development timeframe to achieve proof of market viability.
